Fitness Exercise Tips

You wouldn’t know it by looking at Americans, but life is much more enjoyable if you’re healthy and in good shape. What; you don’t believe me? Okay, allow me to elaborate. When you’re in great shape, you’re able to function easier. This is because your body is carrying around less fat and your heart is in better condition. Not to mention the fact that you’ll feel much more confident if you’re in great shape. You’ll take pride in your appearance and not struggle to hide your flabby thighs or pooch belly. So, now you’re probably ready to get started. Okay, let’s talk fitness exercise routines and healthy diets.

There’s no big secret that eating right is crucial if you plan on living long and staying healthy. This does not only concern the well-being of your body, but it includes your mind as well. Poor diet can have a terrible effect on your mind. What you need to focus on is low-fat foods that are high in nutritional value. Avoid fatty meats and processed foods like chips and microwave dinners. To keep things simple, you want meals that have little sodium, saturated fat, and sugar. Water should be the main beverage you consume. Then there’s the fitness exercise aspect. Eating healthy is awesome, but if you want to get that body conditioned, then you have to adopt a fitness exercise routine that works for you. If you’re currently overweight, then you should probably begin with cardio exercises. Try an elliptical machine, tread mill, jogging around your neighborhood, and plenty of crunches. It’s good to mix up your exercises, because this keeps the body guessing. This way your muscles don’t get too used to the routine. Cardio is your best bet for burning calories.

Once you get down to the weight you prefer, you can add a few strength training fitness exercise regimens. The reason this is better left until after your weight is down, basically concerns weight gain. As you build muscle with weight training, you’ll naturally gain weight. This makes losing weight confusing for some. Hey, it’s time to get started with your new fitness exercise schedule. And remember, the key is sticking to the program. This is how you’ll see results.

Help answer the question about fitness exercise

Do you think they should seperate Diet (weightloss) and Fitness (Exercise) as different categories.?
I find exercise, weight-training and athletic training questions to be the most interesting but to get to them you have to wade through 30 anorexia questions first.
Maybe Just "Weightloss" could be its own subsection, under Diet and Fitness, I agree that often fitness and nutrition are related but there are so many variations on "how can I loose a ton of weight really fast" –it wastes your time to have to look at them.
Been there,

thanks for the b*tchy answer, what's your problem?

first of all, BANISH the pasta if you even want to attempt to loose weight. and rice. they are full of calories.

other than that, forget about the types of foods you need to eat for now. as long as their low in calories, you can loose weight. in fact, even if you eat just chocolate every day, but don't exceed around 1500 calories, you can loose weight.

if you want to loose weight, heres how many calories you need to consume and burn.

    a pound of fat = 3500 calories

    to loose a pound a week= burn 3500 calories a week = 500 a day

to burn 500 calories a day = cut calorie consumption by 250, and burn an extra 250

to cut calorie consumption by 250= eat one less chocolate bar a day. or something with the same calorie content.

to burn an extra 250 calories= dance for 45 minutes, walk 3 miles, run 2 miles, OR (the quick way):

run up and down the stairs.
running up and then down the stairs burns 8 calories each time. doing this 10 times burns 80. < this is the fastest way to exersise and lose weight, as you break a sweat faster. (this is when the exercise is working)

after you have exercised, snack on fruit, nuts or a slice of bread with tuna on.

i hope this helps you. (:

I have received information when I ordered my weight loss recordings that Independent Achievement Is coming out with a children's line of weight loss, less sugar and more exercises….just like the adult ones, except with children topics, and they said it is with 5-6th grader voices. Sounds good to me….because the adult ones work great for my 15 year old. I got all 4 related to diet, half portions, remove sugar addiction, increase water and exercise more….really easy to use….not very time consuming 30 minutes a day…I'm thinking about healthy cooking/eating recording…or waiting until the kid ones come out.

-Eat breakfast. You metabolism is slow in the morning becasue you have been fasting all night. Eating breakfast revs it up.
-Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Same principal, when you go to long without eating your metabolism slows. Eat something at least every 3 hours.
-Build muscle through resistance training. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolic rate because muscle is active tissue and burns calories even at rest.
-Drink lots and lots of water. Being sufficiently hydrated makes you body carry out its metabolic processes more effiecintly.

Trampoline really doesn't burn much energy. Try running 2-3 miles. That'll help.

If you are not over weight or under weight, then just enjoy your youth, you are only 14 years old.

But if you wanna do exercises, just do whatever you enjoy, even if it's dancing. Yes, dancing can be considered an exercise too, if it's done often. Do some cycling, swimming, anything that you like and enjoy.

Don't buy unhealthy things and keep them in the house. Eating different types of fruits that you normally do not consume is a good way to not get bored. As for the sugar cravings, try a teaspoon of honey.

  18. mikeranjero says:

In my opinion, its more than just sit ups. You have to work all the muscles in your abdominal region. Getting a six pack is almost impossible in one month, because as you work muscles, you need to allow them time to "heal". But to start working towards the goal of a six pack, you may want to do 3 or 4 sets of 20 sit ups (remember to breathe) and then gradually progress to using a weight (like a barbell or other type of weight that you can cross across your chest). This will force your body to do more than just lift your body weight. Joining a gym that has a machine to work out your obliques and several machines to work your abs would be helpful as well. Best of luck!
