The Downfall of Female Circuit Training Fitness Clubs

The Downfall of Female Circuit Training Fitness Clubs

The creators of the female only circuit training fitness clubs had a great business idea. They created something for the fitness market that was fantastic for people who did not particularly fit in with the gym crowd, yet wanted to better themselves both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, the crowd drawn to these clubs and the staff working with them is often a bit less driven than a fitness program needs to be. Not that the clubs do not work, but starting the same style of circuit at home will save you money and allow you to work at your own pace and fitness level.

Life is about balance and balance can be achieved when we are able to push ourselves to the limits without the prying eyes of those around us. This is especially important for the person who is trying to lose weight and increase fat burning in order to move from the obese category of weight to the overweight category of weight. For many people in the world, this move means more to them than reaching a normal weight and when it comes to fitness, there needs to be a sense of drive to keep them going on a daily basis.

The circuit training programs set up for females are, in theory, put in place to handle this very problem. But, there are often crowds of people drawn to these clubs that quickly get to know each other and talk about this family event or that family event while moving slowly through the circuit training course. When fitness is on my mind, talking about anything is not my first priority. My priority is burning fat, raising my heart rate and working up a stinky sweat. Then, and only then, do I feel as though I have achieved what I came to the gym to do.

Just because a person is new to the gym experience, does not mean they have to settle for a circuit training set to outdated music. If this style of workout is more your speed, them have a little fun and create a circuit at home using every day items.

* Arms. Window cleaning with glass cleaner and towels, alternate hands.

* Legs. Lunges in a circle around the house.

* Calves. Standing calf raises.

* Back. Sitting can rows.

* Abdomen. Standing twists.

The entire circuit can be modified and rearranged as you see fit. All that is needed is a little timed music and you can make the most of your circuit training from the comfort of your home without the extra costs of a gym membership. Fat burning does not have to cost money, it can be free as long as you use your imagination and try to make the best and the most out of what you have.

The best part about an at home fitness circuit is the ability to change the exercises as your fitness levels increase. What to circuit outside today, you got it! Need a bit of a change, that’s your choice. Life is held in your own grasp as fat burning can be created with the help of your pantry items, laundry items, stairs and windows. You are the boss of your circuit, no gossip required.

    You can get a family package that includes your parents, you only have to be like 13? but they have to be there to supervise.
    Or 16-17 with parents permission
    18+ and your fine.

    Depends more on your club mentality and location, like, in the city you would have an indoor area and need to focus on working week fitness but maybe not so much of weekend attendance, so try a name that combines the "Ladder Climber" mentality with the weekend lack of business and probably no reason to even open.

    So, if your location is in a populus business area and your clientelle are cashed up, age below 45, predominately single, then go for something like "Broken Limits" or maybe "No Limits"

    If your location produces a clientelle of a more cautious nature then maybe something like "Crash or Burn", of course the reference to Crash is -do nothing, and the reference to Burn is – Exercise.

    Hope you get many more ideas. (Rod from OZ)

    Sorry to say you have better chance of winning the lottery then getting out of a contract with Ballys. They will hunt you down like a dog to collect their money. Good luck and let me know how it goes for you.

    Hey,

    I work for LA fitness, therefore can give you a quick recap of them all.
    LA fitness varies and usually we get specials coming in. There should be a special on Monday, since it's our closing so we get good prices at that time.
    not contract. mnth to mnth. usually around 70+ down with first and last month and monthly billing of 19.99, 29.99 and others.

    Bally's usually works based on contract. 3-5 year contracts. Also, if anything I wouldnt go with them since the filed prop 11, which means most of the clubs will shut down sooner than later. we get a lot of ppl from bally come to us cause they know, they'll be gone soon enough.

    24 hour has pretty much similar rates to LA fitness.
    also they get specials every now and then, but their prices are just as similar.

    since I work for LAF I have a free membership, however I would probably get a membership on 24 sinc ethey are open 24 hours!
    I like working out late at night, but if that not an issue with you then LAF works as well.
    Other then that, I'd go with the club with nearest location to me.

    Price is usually the most important thing to decide on. They can be very expensive and even the most basic ones will probably have all the equiptment you need so you're never getting much more for the extra cost.
    Proximity and being able to get there easily is also important. You're much more likely to keep it up if it doesn't take you a massive effort before you've even started your workout!
    Atmosphere is another thing factor. Friendly staff and clients can make a real difference to your motivation to keep going. Some fitness clubs can be a bit snooty or competative so I try to avoid those ones!
    Finally, look at the machines that they're offering. Do they look like things you'd want to make use of? Most will have the basic weight and cardio machines but if there's anything specific you had in mind such as a swimming pool then look out for that.
    Good luck with it. X
