Do You Know How To Improve Your Health & Fitness?

If you want to improve your health first try and limit the number of tablets you may be taking or are used to taking. Paracetamol might be the first choice for headaches, but you will be surprised how often a headache can be cured by just drinking water or having something to eat. (any vegetables will be a bonus)
 
If you’re taking supplements try and find the equivalent organically. You can modify your diet and still feel the benefits without some of the risks involved by taking a dietary supplement. However much time you think you may or may not have to prepare organic fruit and vegetables it will always be worth it. Five fruit and vegetables a day should be your minimum target.

Always try and consult a professional dietician.

Athletes for example, take creatine supplements to boost their strength and give them a legal edge over their competition. There will always be risks involved, as it could be possible that the creatine you take may have contaminated, banned substances. This is a large risk to your health and if you’re a professional athlete it could ruin your career.

Even professionals bleed…not literally, but you must without doubt allow the body to heal when in training mode. By scheduling a complete day off every week you train you will be doing your mind and body the world of good. Allowing your muscles to recoup and your mind to focus ready for the next training day.

Listening to your body may seem simple but many don’t and this is when injures occur. If your body is hurting through exercise you are pushing it too hard. STOP! Tell yourself that is enough for today, shower, eat well then relax for the rest of the day. Don’t beat yourself up about it as tomorrow is another day.

You can improve your health and fitness by stretching as soon as you wake. Just a few simple stretches will do to get you motivated. Your muscles get shorter when exercising so if you never stretch you will get injured. Stretch thoroughly after exercising aswell.

We all know that we should drink more water in our daily routines especially when exercising. Because you lose minerals in your body while sweating you need to stay fully hydrated, this means drinking plenty of water before, during and after rigorous exercise.

Exercising can be lonely, try and exercise with other people. You will make new friends, and your fitness will improve faster if you have other people helping to keep you motivated.

Becoming too competitive may harm your health. Motivation from other people is good thing, but you should bear in mind you’re only competing against yourself. Your body will differ to others and will only be able to sustain certain levels of exercise. Be yourself, set your own pace. If you try too hard to keep up with someone else’s you could easily become injured.

As with most things in life, enjoy the type of exercise you choose and have a much fun as possible. This will stimulate your mind and help you stick to your goals.

Help answer the question about health fitness

Health & Fitness?
I started to work out about 3 weeks ago, and I am barely seeing any results. I want some good exercises to do at home for my abs, legs & butt. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

    Boy, where do I start?

    I'd like to see insurance companies have less control over what medical decisions are made for an individual. If a team of doctors has determined that a particular treatment is the best choice, why does a corporation, with no medical background, get to deny that treatment?

    I'd like to see drug companies have less influence over consumers. Since they've been allowed to advertise their latest thing on television, patients are telling their doctors what to prescribe. Generic drugs may work just as well, but we are a brand loving society. Rather than sticking with the tested (and inexpensive) generics, we push our doctors to prescribe the new drug we saw on tv last night. Not only does this encourage people to spend more money on drugs unnecessarily, it encourages the drug companies to continue developing new versions of similar drugs. I read that we haven't developed a totally new antibiotic in decades. Rather than develop a drug that will be used once, drug companies focus on new variations of drugs for long term use, because they can make money off of it. And boy, can they make money! I know that the true cost includes both the development AND production of the drug, but it seems like the companies are making a heck of a profit. If they can sell the same drug for a fraction of the cost in other countries, why can't they sell it for a reasonable price here?

    I'd like to see every citizen of the United States guaranteed basic health care at reasonable prices. We claim to be advanced, enlightened, the best country in the world, and yet our citizens often go without medical care because they can't afford it – or can't afford the health insurance. The insurance provided through my job is a flat rate regardless of how many people it covers. I am single, no dependents, and yet my insurance premiums cost the same as a co-worker with a family of five. At one point, between jobs, I tried to get independent insurance coverage and was refused because of my weight. I was within their acceptable weight range (which was only 17 pounds higher than the upper "healthy" limit for my height), but because I had recently lost 30 pounds they refused me and told me to try again in six months, so they could "be sure I'd keep the weight off." I've visited insurance companies as part of my previous job. I've seen the 40 acre professionally landscaped site with walking paths and lakes. I've eaten in the executive lunch rooms and employee cafeterias that served better food than most restaurants I've been to. I've seen the three story fountains in the lobby, and I know one company in particular that as a matter of policy closes its doors at noon on Fridays in the summer. When my premiums go to fund the insurance company's private fitness club, I have a problem.

    It's unrealistic to think that we could easily change to a national health care plan in this country. It would involve wiping out all insurance companies, and creating one enormous new government entity. Instead, we need to work within the system we have to reduce costs and increase coverage. So my suggestion? Start controlling the insurance and drug companies, and stop letting them control us. Or more specifically, stop letting them control you, our government.

    Raising your health on Millsberry is easy – just eat right. By right, I mean eat from the 5 food groups every day.

    I use two different diets to keep up my health and my health on all my accounts is at 100%.

    Diet #1:
    If your hunger level is grumbly or 'lower' eat the following:
    1. Fruit Salad
    2. Green Salad
    3. Cheeseburger

    If you are still not 'completely full' after eating those three items try adding another salad or fruit salad.

    Diet #2:
    If your hunger level is comfortably full or higher.
    1. Lasagna (found on page 2 of the deli section of the grocery store)
    2. Fruit Salad

    This should feed you to 'completely full'. If for any reason you are not completely full then try adding another fruit salad.

    If you eat this diet every day you should see your health rise. It will rise more quickly if it is low (in the 20s for example) than it does when it is high (in the 80s for example) but it will eventually reach 100%.

    Try to feed your person every day and their health should increase very steadily.

    It’s great that you exercise and eat so healthy, which is obviously something we all need to do but, if you are 5′5 and weight 100 lbs you are wayyyyyy under what you should weigh. For someone who is 5 ft or under, 100 lbs would be more healthy. But..I’m glad you are healthy anyway.

    First I take Omega 3 fish oil because my family has a history of Alzheimer and my husband psychiatrists say no proof yet but many doctors are taking it because it does have some promise. Now for my ache knees, I take a supplement call fluid joint. it comes in a cream that you can rub on and in pills that you take daily. The cream smells like Ben Gay, but takes away pain immediately and the pills, well without them, my knees hurt a lot and with them I can continue to bicycle daily.

    The question is asking for what things can you do that involve you moving your body ~ getting your heart rate up, burning calories, things that would get you into shape inside and out. Something other than sitting down and eating all day.

    whey protien is dairyy im vegan i would know so if you drink soymilk instaid of cows milk you shouldnt really eat the whey … dairy isnt good for you theres better things for you

    I drink soy milk because it not only tastes better, but dosnt give me sore tummy.And I love my whey shakes, i now have them with strawberrys omg there soooo good!
    Im vegetarian so i can eat dairy if i choose

    You're better off taking mangosteen in pill form as the juice mostly uses the inner "meaty" portion of the fruit whereas the pill form uses the rind which contains the highest concentration of the Xanthones(antioxidants).

    I would not do it!! I had the silver ones in for years and was okay… I went to Comfort Dental a year in a half ago and they took mine out, I cant even write you the pain that these fillings have given me… I am 20 years old. I cry myself to sleep its so bad. My teeth are so sensitive in the back … they hurt so bad… I have no idea what to do.. I read someone else that someones teeth were like mine and hurt…
