    You will get plenty of exercise while in basic. If someone comes back weighing more it's because they pigged out in the dining facility between training. Watch what you eat and you will be good. Getting in depends on your body fat if you are over the maximum weight. At 130 pounds, you are good if you are around 5'2 but you aren't if you are less than 5'0 (assuming you are joining the Army).

    As for your kids, they could be an issue if you are currently single. If you are going active then you cannot join unless you are married or if you don't have custody. Regardless of if you have custody or not, you would need a waiver if you have three or more kids. If you are going Reserves then you need a waiver if you are single.

    1. The heart rate is gradually increased from the resting pulse, the temperature within the muscles is increased, and the chance of muscle soreness and injury is reduced
    2. stretch or warm up
    3. cool down
    4. 5 to 10 minutes jogging/walking or 5 to 10 minutes of static stretching exercises
    5. Stand tall, your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, your knees slightly bent. Hold your arms out to the side parallel with the ground and the palms of your hands facing forward. Stretch your arms back as far as possible.

    7. shoulders and upper back
    8. last between 5 to 10 minutes
    9. When you first get started, do not allow for rest days in your exercise schedule
    10. warm up
